Preserving History Seminar

The Cedar Lake Historical Association invites you to an afternoon at the lake. Join professionals and volunteers from preservation and historical organizations to learn, brainstorm, and network. A plated luncheon at the Lighthouse Restaurant will be followed by introductions, keynote presentation, and roundtable discussions on a variety of topics. Guest speaker, Dr. Ken Schoon, will discuss region history. Madeleine Tudor of The Field Museum, will provide an update about the Calumet National Heritage Area and Calumet Voices special exhibit opening June 27th. Roundtable facilitators include Kim Trevino of Campagna Academy (volunteer engagement), Andrea Proulx-Buinicki of Giving Focus (fundraising, strategic planning), Bruce Gorman of Indiana Historical Society (local history services), and Ted Rita of Hesston Steam Museum (marketing, event experiences).
