Lakeshore PBS Friends & NeighborsThe Town of Cedar Lake has a long history as both a hub for industry and a resort destination. For over half a century, Cedar Lake was a popular summer getaway for families in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Since 1986, the Cedar Lake Historical Association has been displaying artifacts and telling stories from those bygone summer days on Cedar Lake. > Watch Video
